DVD Reviews: Glee

I came late to the party on this one.  I'd been hearing so much about Glee from both Bro' B and Mr. Z, that I finally sat down and watched my first episode last month. WOW! Why had I not jumped on the bandwagon sooner?

Thankfully 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment came to my rescue by sending me disc four of Road to the Sectionals so that I could catch up on a couple of the episodes that I had missed. I have to say that this was a GREAT way to spend a quiet New Year's Day - enjoying this ensemble of incredibly talented teens, great comedic actors and snarky script.

You've NEVER seen GLEE?

Glee is what happens when you mix the movie Fame with that 70's TV series Soap. A combo of  comedy and a LOT of great music and dance makes this destined to be cult classic series addictive. Created by Ryan Murphy of Nip/Tuck fame, Glee offers us an inside look into an unpopular, but extremely talented  high school glee club. With tongue planted firmly in cheek and full hour of situational cliches, Glee will make you feel....well GLEE.

Whether you're an affirmed Glee-a-holic or just want to know what all of the fuss is about, you'll want to check out Glee, Vol. One: Road to Sectionals.

I want to buy this so badly, but I'm so mad that last time I checked they won't have a volume 2, just a full season with all of the spring episodes as well on the next release. I love love this series though. So campy and fun.

I know, I found it weird that they didn't do an entire season.
