Beauty Reviews & Giveaway: Awakening MudFace
Broad A: Awakening Skin Care is not new to me. I had the privilege of using Awakening's Face&Neck when Broad "Z" reviewed it for Champagne Living last year. She insisted that I try it. You'd think she was a walking advertisement for the stuff the way she went on & on.
Broad Z: Hey, when I find a great product, I always tell my friends....even YOU "A" and you KNOW that when you walk into my bathroom each and every product on the vanity is by Awakening Mineral Therapies.
Broad A: C’est vrai, this product is alluring, amazing and my face has been thanking me six months straight with glowing,
Broad Z: Yes, as I've said in the past. MudFace is like going for a salon facial. My skin feels so WONDERFUL after using it.
Broad A: NO BOILS or ERUPTION, lovely non-volcanic skin. My skin loves Awakening. Lancome – Be Gone! This is my favorite skin care product since I have been reviewing them. My face thanks you!
Broad Z: Just in time for Halloween and NO BOILS? LOL Mr. "Z" (um, wait - "Z" is my FIRST name - oh well) still has breakouts. His skin never got past being a 16 year old boy. It CRACKS ME UP to see him with MudFace all over.
Broad A: "Z" - when you told me that we were reviewing Awakening's MudFace I did the happy dance. I don’t use a lot of face products because I hate change. I am a stuck in the mud (no pun intended) Lancome gal,. AND since I ran out of Awakening Face&Neck (spent the money on the grand kiddles as usual and didn’t reward myself with another jar) I immediately tried MudFace.
Broad Z: I'm coming at this from having used MudFace since Rob (the CEO of Awakening) first turned me on to it just about a year ago. We review a LOT of products here on The Review Broads, but as you all know - there are FAVORITES that AFTER the review is over (good or bad), we go back to the products that we LOVE the most and feel comfortable using. For ME - it's the entire Awakening Skin Care Line. It's what I use when I'm not being a Beauty Review Guinea Pig.
Broad A: I'm not touching that last line with a ten foot pole.....
Broad Z: You'd better not. I may be shorter than you, but I've got Cha-Cha protecting my "back."
Broad A: Ahem...back to the MudFace.
First, I love montmorillonite clay because it has TONZ of magnesium and it is a pr
emium ingredient in dog foods! Also, it didn't hurt that MudFace also contain 4 essential oils/extracts - a mineral goldmine!
Second, I applied it to my face and it dried. Oozy, and then tightening, and then PARADISE. When I washed it off, with its balmy nice scent, all of my blemishes had come off with the Mud Face (you can see the attached pics if you don’t believe me.) But of course you believe me – I am a Review Broad! ***NOTE*** I removed the AFTER PICTURE because of the giveaway question (Broad "Z").
Broad Z: Yeah - that's a reason to believe you. Although, if our readers have read some of the NASTY reviews you've been giving lately, they WILL know that you're telling the truth. We don't want them wasting money on BOOKS and products that just don't cut it.
Broad A: I just call 'em like I see 'em.
Awakening Mineral Therapies for Healthy Skin has to be the best products of the year. And then, just because I felt a little like an Elderly Princess (or at least a Middle Age Princess) I applied it to my feet. I am an ex-ballerina (from 3 years old to 10 years old) and my feet are FULL of callouses and yucky dried skin (sorry but this is a REVIEW). I never speak of these things in public! AND what a difference.
Broad Z: OMG "A" - I never thought of that. WOW, I live in South Florida (not Utah like you) and I'm in sandals YEAR ROUND. What a GREAT IDEA.
Broad A: Listen, gang, I can’t put this in words. They really don’t do the task this time. You HAVE to try MudFace, you MUST. This product is the Energizer Bunny of the natural cosmetic world. And I will never use anything but MudFace again. It did a better job than the scrub I am using now, which unfortunately is a little oily for my skin. MudFace, you rock.
Broad Z: I agree. If you want to save money and get that salon facial feel, MudFace does the trick (and with Halloween right around the corner - you can leave it on when you answer the door for the trick or treater's and scare the "you know what" out of them).
